Thanks very much Souldid it take long? lmao
having a massive unit clear out and re painting the floors and that at the mo, then i hope to start trickleing in the progress on this again![]()
Err yea did take a while lol lmao, been reading it here and there the last few days. Well worth it though I've learnt so much just reading through everything, makes me wanna get a welder and make my own brackets etc.
I like the whole finding one thing to sort out but removing and and finding something else to do, I'm also very much like that lmao, spent the best part of 6 hours just preping my block for paint because I kept finding other bits I didn't like ahaha.
Goodluck with the unit aswell, lookin forward to more progress.
Cheers matehopefully you'll continue enjoying the progress to come too

Might be worth checking this site out Touring Car Spares , might have some suitable calipers or similar
Mig Performance Iron ore Mining
got some calipers now, keep forgetting to take pics
will tomorrow![]()
had a look through that touring car site, some bloody cool things there in all the sections, just need to win the lottery though lmao brings into perspective how much of a great deal i got with all my bits![]()
I have to stay away from it, else i would talk myself into a loan to buy an ex touring car. Defo a good place for brake spares like bobbins and pads.
And like you say the fact it may have been on clelands car ads value to the spec list
Mig Performance Iron ore Mining
i got these calipers the other day, ASTON MARTIN BREMBOS :d
the guy on mig was having trouble selling them as they were simply too big for everyone lmao 11inches longa few reductions and got them for 250quid delivered, they are used, but like new
as you will have read i got the 355mm front discs and caliper brackets a while ago (for a steal)
the problem i was having was the didtance between mounting holes, usually 4 pots seem to be 150mm, but my brackets are for 180mm mounting holes which proved hard to find without spending 800quid on calipersbut these fit the brackets perfectly
the off set looks spot on too![]()
the only problem is the calipers arent quite wide enough, they have this 'bridge' inside which will have to loose only half a mm each side, (you can see the major offset in this pic to give wheel clearence
but i'm happy the offsets and distances seem to match my discs and brackets perfectly
