minted??? no way!!! i wanted to make it quite clear i wasn't some spoilt little rich boy or someone with a massive loan, this is goin to be all my money, as all my projects have been which i pride my self on! and which at time.s will run out stopping progress! i cant afford to just go through the demon tweeks cataloge ordering everything i need! i'm sure most of you will notice that just about everything i get is second hand and in wierd orders of purchase, this is the only way i can afford all these things, by keepin my eye's peeled and waitin for bargains or abandoned project threads come up! like i said in the long post this is my only hobbie, i'm amazed at how much people spend on things like fishing and other hobbies like that!
and even more amazed at how much all my mate's spend on gettin trashed, i still go to parties and clubbin and that, just don't drink, they think nothing on spendin 50 60 70 80 quid every thursday friday and saturday!
thats where i save most of my money, not drinkin! well that and never spendin any money on a girlfriend lol lmao

most of the old bits are going to pay for the new bits, sell the F28, get a cossie box and adapter bellhousing, sell my gt28r to pay for the T38, sell the F1s to pay for the comps!

    the crazy bit.... maybelmao

Subscribed, doing this next year with a 3.2 V6 and possibly some turbos chucked in for fun.

What box are you going to be using? Sorry if you already said, I couldn't see.

Re: Ronnie's project RWD :D - mk3 astra gsi turbo rear wheel drive ;)

Hi Ron, can't wait to see some progress. Gutted you won't be able to use the wheels, they are really distinctive (I've only ever seen them on your Astra!), but I'm sure you'll find some equally classy.

Are you sure about losing the interior though? IMO, it's only a few KGs but it's the difference between having a car that you can use as a car, or having a car that you only use for driving. I think that makes sense. Maybe ditch the sound-proofing but stick the carpet and interior back in? I love the interior of the General Lee in the Dukes of Hazzard. Massive fat roll cage and then full squishy interior. lmao

You can have your cake and eat it! lmao Whatever it turns out like, if it's half as awesome as your red one it'll be a credit to you.
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.

The only problem is the cage Ron has goes everywhere, so will have to ditch door cards and back seats!

Re: Ronnie's project RWD :D - mk3 astra gsi turbo rear wheel drive ;)

yea that is pretty cool jack, and would make it look really totally cool, but my cage really does go everywhere! the only bit i would be able to keep of the interior would be the front seats, the cage woulnt allow door cards, quater cards, or rear seats. and heated leather armchairs would really look right with a full race prepped interior lmao

but shant be selling the leather just yet, so never know it might still squeeze into the rear, but doubt it lol
