c20xe corsa conversion

alrite peeps rite am doing a c20xe conversion from 1.2 p reg corsa and im having loads of transmission ideas threw at me im just wanting to know if any1 knows the crack about wot can be used and wot cant. rite heres the start of me rant haha

ive got a corsa gsi gearbox and i got told if u get a flat flywheel for the redtop this box can b used so i tried my 1.2 shafts in the gearbox yday and they went straight in and from someone else i got told if u use the f20 gearbox the corsa gsi shafts will fit the box then a couple of days ago on ebay i was searching for gsi shafts and found someone selling sum shafts for a corsa that sed for 1.2 or 1.4 or 1.4 16v or 1.6 16v which would indicate that all these shafts are the same so i phoned around a few scrap yards and they confirmed this so does any1 know any crack about these? because if the gsi shafts fit in a f20 box this discovery i had yday would incate that the 1.2 shafts would fit aswell????????? i know that corsa diesel shafts will fit in the f20 so u dnt have to change the hubs as they fit straight in but just wanting to know if any1 has done this method or any1 have any info for me that would be gratefully accepted

The splines on the inner CVs differ, for the GSI shafts you need Cav Mk2 inner CVs! If you do a search you will find all your answers! P.S. I am only saying that as I am posting from a phone which takes ages, sorry if 'use search' appeared rude!

Re: c20xe corsa conversion

you need to fit the mk2 cav cvs onto corsa gsi shafts, the corsa gsi shafts have 22splines and the end of the shafts are bigger so will fit the cav cvs
go a set of gsi shafts here just need to stick the inner cvs on pm if interested
