corsa 1600 track/road project

Got this from my friends girlfriend in about july. It was standard apart from a horrible set of 17's. Since then i have done alot and spend plenty of cash on it. The plan was to have a nice road car and do the odd trackday, but after doing Trax i have decided to make it a full trackday car but still for the moment my road car aswell.

As it stands now the spec is:

Engine:

Mantzel Inlet
Magnex stainless cat back system
Magnex stainless de-cat

Suspension:

60mm all round

Brakes:

Standard sport brakes

Interior:

Semi stripped

Exterior:

MK4 Astra smoked side repeaters
De badged grill
De badged all round
Removed rear wiper unit
GM dealersport mudflaps

Plans over the winter are

Janspeed manifold
Decent suspension
Strip the rest of the car out
2L brakes

and fit my OMP bucket seats and Sabelt harnesses. Just need to either get some omp subframes for a corsa or find someway of using them with the standard subframes.

I've got a janspeed manifold in the loft i think, will dig it out and take a pic, was bought for a 1.6 tigra iirc..

Abit of an update

This week going to order my quickshift linkage from RallyDesign and nylon bushes from LMF.

And also get my bucket seats and harnesses in. Need to Order some omp subframes. And then whilst the seats are out fully strip the car out

And also order my Janspeed Manifold. Anyone know the best and cheapest place to get it from ?

Progress is abit slow due to me getting laid off just before christmas

sparco do a frame that bolts to a bucket seat and to standard subframe...i cant remember where i got them from but they were a fair bit cheaper than full subframes, nice car by the way
