cheers mate, its amazing what you find once you start taking a car apart.. and yes it will be heavier but this time I'm not going for an all out track car more fast road car that can handle a track day, for instance I'm keeping glass windows all round, carpet in the front and proper door cards lol but to offset that I'll be trying for 380bhp (black car was evo5 power) and ive stripped out everything I wont be needing and using lightwieght versions of stuff that I will need and maybe when ive got some cash spare i'll look into carbonfibre panels

yesterdays progress, doesnt seem like alot but took allday to do lol.
started off by stripping down the boot and fitting the aero catches, also stripped down the wiring loom of everything except the brake light.
after fitting the boot I discovered that the pin holder/bracket thing I'd previously made would be no good as it made the pin go at an odd angle, so I made up some new ones out of ally plate with a simple lip put round the edge for a bit of strength, then I fitted the bumper and rear lights, once that was done I fitted the rear 1/4 windows and upper trim back to the car.

Plans are to get it put back together asap and get out and use it.
Getting to the ring this year would be awesome and is the main aim but these things always take longer than expected so aslong as I get to the shows and do a few trackdays i'd be happy fella
