| Track Based Pineapple Decided to change my track car for the trip to the ring next year plus a good few track days in uk as well, was looking for something cheap really, Pug 205-16v, E30 BMW, but couldn't find anything i really fancied, then stumbled on this little item on ebay by chance, always missed my old Pineapple so i thought how fitting it would be, plus its cheap, plus ive got parts kicking around everywhere for it.
Not bad condition, a couple of surface rust bits i'll sort out soon, got till may to do so in no hurry, will sell interior befor stripping out as both garages are full of parts
Plans are lots and lots of weight saving, i've got 3 different weight scales to weigh everything and lighten sad
have already koni adjustable shocks, poly bushes, 288mm brakes, bucket seat plus more, will be doing all on the cheap then upgrade properly as and when.
Taxed and insured over the weekend so now driving around to make sure she is straight etc.. Not cleaned her yet as you can see either.
And yes the Ecotec engine is staying

| Re: Track Based Pineapple Not a picture update but a print one,
seeing as im using the car everyday and the water pump was singing i decided to replace it 2day, inc a belt kit, should really change the oil as well but will do that during the week.
Really want to get on now but still waiting for parts to turn up so i can do the lot on one go. |

nice project you got chap, love the pineapple colour. | My sport has the c18xel as well, underestimated engine! goes off the clock no problem, my 1.8 is quicker than any x20 ive owned!
Plus ive done over 130k in just over 3 years! Doesnt use any oil / water!
Also been on a few track days in it as well, loves the abuse!!!
The koni's are a good move as well !
