I've finally ran out of use and ideas for my car so we're going to track it, i'll post some pictures as i go but for now i'll post some pics from when i bought it up to now.
1.4 16v engine still in and standard suspension
designed a rear false floor
brand new 2.0 gsi brakes
smoked headlights and rear lights
mantzel lip spoiler, removed after a month (too much hassle hitting the ground)
safety devices cage fitted
Conversion to XE starts
the cavalier that gave me my ecu/shafts/wiring loom. SOld the engine because i bought a clean engine from London. SOld everything on this cavalier

interior is now coming out and bucket seats going in
seats are in just need to do some stripping out now
passenger seat sits low so the centre of gravity is low.
Work done at Castlepark Autobody in Ellon and very happy with the work that went into fitting them
quite a lot i still need to do but it will be an ongoing project over the Winter. Still not sure what suspension to get for the front. Wanted Leda but struggling to find them
rear floor sprayed will get some more done tomorrow
Drivers seat has been out and sanded down ready for painting which i have done along with my minor fog light modification into a non gsi corsa
Thanks a lot guys, i'm down to just doing a few little bits for its MOT next month now but once i have a bit more time and cash i will be getting some other stuff sorted. Not bothering with the engine just now as i want to get it handling well to be honest, so next step will be some kind of front suspension. I'm happy with the Bilstein a the back but not at the front, really want leda but a bit too much money for me so in need of something worth while for track use. Any suggestions welcome
