| Corsa C Z18XE N/A Tuned Hi guys,
thought it was about time i got some pics up of my motor, its a 52 plate 1800 corsa that is far from standard
pics -
Current Mods
Engine
dbilas vernier pulleys
dbilas inlet manifold
dbilas flowmaster
dbilas fst road cams
piper 4-1 manifold
sports cat
2.5 inch system
lightened flywheel
ARP rod bolts
it was running approx 179.6bhp and 156ftlb until i blew i big end bearing due to letting it run dry due to fecked piston rings
so im now in the process of changing the engine for a second time, once thats sorted and iv got it running sweet again, ill get on with some more engine work
hoping to take it up to around 200bhp in the new year with forged pistons, steel rods, bigger injectors and a standalone ecu, and then i direct port nitrous kit bolted on for good measure
cheers for looking
Matt

| Re: Corsa C Z18XE N/A Tuned Good spec, some pounds spent there, though TB's would be the next stage along with the pistons etc. Not sure how that might affect the emmissions though.
Liking the carbon bonnet too which is a first.

Liking the carbon bonnet too which is a first. | looked into the TB's, just too much hassle having to change from FBW to cable throttle and then the cost of aftermarket management initially to get it all running, plus the dbilas inlet does a pretty good job theres a 1.8 corsa turo running 300bhp with the exact same one so its up to the job
oh and it nearly wasnt a carbon bonnet a while a go blew off when the missus was driving! ill never fit another without bonnet pins in! Quote:
