| Re: My corsa c20let Its clean, just needs the front tidying up. The car wouldnt tick over so I did a compression check and found a had nothing in the first cylinder. Turned out I had burnt out a few valves. So the engines out to get some work done. Work so far . . .
Full f28 rebuild with quaife diff
Power steering kit fitted
Frontera front mounted intercooler and silicone pipework
Chris Astley uprated hubs/bearings and equal length shafts
New valves all lapped in.
Set of avo coilovers
Will get some pics up this weekend if I get chance |

I take it back!!! Having mega problems with the gear linkage??! Its as though there is something blocking the rod that comes out of the gearbox to the linkage. The gearstick will only go up and down when connected and will not go left at all. Is this a common problem or could it be a problem with the rebuilt gearbox?? Thanks, Ash |

| Re: My corsa c20let The linkage has already been modified as car was already running an F28. Sounds like the linkage isn't adjusted right or the selector wasn't located in the right place when the box was put back together. |

| Re: My corsa c20let All sorted now the guy had put the selector rod back in wrong. Wish id have checked before I had put everything back together and just had the gear linkage to do but nevermind. So now i have got it all back together with the quaife diff and equal length shafts and it drives a lot better. I also fitted a set of chips I had yesterday and my alesios. Just got to tidy up the body work now and take a few pics |
