Another nova

Well i got a 12 month holiday from driving so im rebuilding my car...
started out as a smooth running c20xe with dellorto 40's in a nova gsi shell, and nows its a shell pretty much... all probably ahrdly ever update this thread but if i start it im more likely to do some work, and it gives you guys a chance to give me ideas! lol, that means i spend money... ok.. no ideas!

i jst typed a really long update and it closed... gutted..

ah well, was saying i attcked the car and stripped a#her to find very little rust (surprising.) and i#that im planing on fitting qed q420 cams with +1mm valves, solid lifters, double valve springs, colisbro guides, pocket pistons, con rods, possibly rebore to 2100cc, lightened balanced flywheel, paddle clutch, gripper diff, seam welded with chris astley motorsport plating kit,machine bottom ball joints to adjust camber, tarmac rally springs, quiaffe quick steering rack, compition engne mounts, weber or dellorto 45's and a sparco 6 piont roll cage.
that should be good for 200+ out a N/A fwd car, weighing less that a ton... fun fun fun..

will post up some pics of the progress when i get them hosted.

any comments or suggestions much appriciated.

called a driving ban mate.. got caught doin 102 avg in a 60... not very good..

so now ill make her faster.

battery tray nice and solid

have taken out p/s drive shaft and shock ect but not got piccy, going to take out driver side and hopefully have engine out by weekend, then the grinder makes an appearance for those wee bits of rust... lol
