I'm liking that! Some nice touches. I like the extended dash.

R1 carbs is what I'm looking to do. How do you rate them compared to say a std XE? Do they need constantly setting up?

i just took em off lol in the process of puttin inlet and loom in

and only had it bout a month now but bought for track use yeah

nice build!, whats the shifter off? tis a quiafe but not for vaux?

in the process of takin carbs off and puttin inlet and loom on the shells a 1.3 sr should it have a fuel return cos there aint one lol whats best way to go about it
could i keep my tank and run new return in car somethin like that cheers

Is a little. I'm in the same boat.

Either find an injection tank or alloy jobbie. You'll then need o run a return and feed line. You'll obviously need a pump and filter. Seeing as you'll be using for a track might aswell fit swirl pot setup etc now and have done with it.

when i bought it the front engine mount had snapped and aomeone had fabricated an altenater bracket for the front of block tensioning it from the engine mount now im changin the engine bought new engine mount block all bolted up but the bracket for the altenater on the back of block is for power steerin altenater i need the other one can anyone help me out

your just asking for trouble not having a cam cover on mate i found that out first hand when something caught th belt and snapped causing hundreads of pounds in repair bill but nice little nova buy the way

it does run a cam cover but its one of the ones that show the top pulleys has the bottom all covered

When you turn hard around corners the fuel wish swirl side to side in the standard fuel tank and when your fuel tank gets below around 1/2 it can sometimes cause problems as flow is interupted. By fitting a swirl pot after the tank you can eliminate this starvation effect by essentially having a reserve pot.
