My New Car - Astra SRi 16v

Picked up my new car tonight after much deliberation.

Gone for it cause its quite 'me' being a Vauxhall, and its about as newer car I could buy without considering Daewoo's and alike lol.

Its a 2001 Vauxhall Astra SRi 1.8 16v in Metallic Black with some array of Irmscher bits!

I looked at it twice and couldn't find really one thing wrong with it other than a cambelt needed changing and its due a service, all which i'd do anyway for piece of mind.

Im very tempted by the 2.2 sri for a every day driver.

Coulda had a 2.2 but most are quite high mileage, plus economy should be better in this, and its cheaper to insure.

Good buy i would say, such a massive step up from a Nova.

Here is mine, just about finished rebuilding my V6 & F28 for it
