Re: Nova Gte Turbo

As I said when you bought it off me I thought it would be a shame to change an original GTE, especially one in such good conition. Anyway each to their to own . Some good work there so far, any updates?

Good work so far. If you want a challenge and maybe be the first to do it would be great to see something different and put a vxr engine in this.

Ok just thought only the arches needed doing when I had it, but if you can get geniune gm guarters for the right money then its worth doing. Will you be fitted them? Or someone else?

Re: Nova Gte Turbo

Nice solid base to start from. Gotta love silver Novas & gotta love mk1's even moreso.

VXR (LEH) lump will be a nice change, though you'll need to ditch the std ECU etc or run it with half the Astra VXR in the glovebox!

Re: Nova Gte Turbo

99% sure i will be putting a vxr into it ,i will be fitting the rear quarters after Christmas as im waiting for duick to come over in jan so i can get my drivers wing and inner rear arch from him. Then get it back to a rolling shell and hopefully feb, march will buy the astra vxr engine&box and will run it on some management.
