Nice to see another GSi being saved than having the XE ripped out and the rest scrapped. Good luck with the Resto. |

| Re: mk3 astra gsi restoration gonna take longer than 6 weeks so im looking for a garage. yea would rather fix the astra than break it an stick the redtop in my corsa. cant belive how much these things rust. ive checked behind the pedals an its all solid looks like its already been done behind there. i had it in bits the other day because the carpet and foam was soaking wet. still hav'nt figured out where that coming from either. any ideas anyone?? i took it out an it is dry now. most of the rot and rust is in the sides and back but it seems thats where they all seem to go. |

| Re: mk3 astra gsi restoration bargain for a ton. Must admit I would have bought it at that just to break it. Too much hassle for me sorting all that tin worm.
Good luck with the project. |

| Re: mk3 astra gsi restoration I think wet footwells are usually down to the sock drain thing in the middle of the bulkhead, or the pollen filter. Do a search and you'll find loads about it. |

| Re: mk3 astra gsi restoration Fair play for doing the welding. Was pretty rotten, looking at the pics. As said most people would have broke it up for spares. Looks like its coming together though.
