Look up these words 'Power to weight!' A Standard R5GTT would abuse a Cavalier GSI far harder than some porn ring abused Maddie.

The ONLY aspect a Cav GSI would win on would be top end speed, I am not deluded. Handling, acceleration, stopping an R5 would absolutely murder a tank with a semi-decent lump between the driven wheels. There is no contest. If you want to get up the M6 ASAP a Cav GSI wins hands down, on fast road driving/track they are as different as chalk and cheese.

My point exactly a R5 is the Arse and the cav is the Foot that kicks it!!!

Just accept that you have purchased something that no-one else wants and that know you have it your stuck with it, thus thinking you would name it a real man's car surely shows what an idiot you really are! The to have the ordasity to post the thing on a Vauxhall Forum... Jesus desperate for attention or what! The fact that you have got the attention from someone who realises what a tacky opiece of crap you have brought has offened you! The cav wins hands down every day and the R5 should be at the scrap yard where it belongs!

Come on fella, if you are going to try and insult me, at least make a proper job of it eh? Rather than a load of illiterate crap?

I love it when I get a rise out of people, especially when they contradict themselves so much. Any idiot and their molested dog (I have heard that the RSPCA have been called to your address previously? ) would realise that the title was in jest? Well, unless they are below that level of intellect of course? Your comments are laughable. You cry about a joke title but then refer to the car you are slating as a 'little boys car'. Don't get me wrong, I am not offended I am just unsure of what point you are trying to make with such contradictions?

P.S. Also look up the % of Cav GSI's in the scrapyards compared to R5GTT's. Infact, I will let you include Cav Turbos as well to add an extra string to your bow.

I love a good internet bash but TBH you are about 50 sites below my level, you cannot even make your points on why a car is better? I acknowledged where the Cavalier is superior. Your are clearly posting in a misinformed/uneducated manner, it is what many people would refer to as ignorant.

U needz Inglish skillz. Laterz.

Awesome car, have a soft spot for the old R5 GTT, couple of mates used to have them went like a baastard when they did run right.

Dude... you can't say that... her parents didn't sell her to the child porn porn ring... they sold her as a child slave... jesus, get it right.

Slightly more 'on topic' Saw a lovely white R5GTT yesterday hop over the A217 whilst I was waiting at the lights, I was out for a bit of fun, but so were Surrey Police, so I just went home!

Re: My man car, no Vauxhall tat here thank you!

Shame about the issues Wayne, atleast you arent too annoyed by it. get her uptogether & sorted ready for next time.

As for the Cav GSi vs 5GTT debate. Yeah a Cav would own it on the motorway & is way more comfy & refined on a long run, but the 5 will eat it for acceleration & general boy racer type blasting. I speak from much experience with both.

Heres my mates old R5 Raider... known as the money pitt to anyone that knew it..

I'd swap my Nova for a 5, cheap tax & that noise.........

Re: My man car, no Vauxhall tat here thank you!

I'd have a 5GTT any day of the week - awesome little cars

Can't say I've ever been that bothered about a Cav GSI though.........

As has been said, chalk and cheese, but the cav will never have the following of the Renault IMO.

Craig, that Raider looks mint. So does the one big man posted, just not a fan of the GT Tuning 'twister' grill on it.

I wouldn't feel confident of stopping with plastic brakes.

lol, aye, the mates one used to have a boost problem that resulted in it blowing the carb adjustment screw out. We were a regular at the local Renault dealer nearly every Monday for one.
