New projects and lo cost shell are always the best ones i recon!
Here is todays update.
Went out and bought this earlier (Best tools available )as my old grinder from the days of cutting up the nova had stopped working:
Then i set to work:
Made getting at some of the spot welds miles easier, which resulted soon after in this:
And i have just ordered these:
Also borrowing a friends compressor to paint the inside and engine bay once i have had the cage fitted.
Very happy as i am making fast progress with this one.

| Re: Corsa turbo build Dunno about the aircon stuff, it was not in when i got the car. IIRC in my old one it was quite a lot of stuff so probably weighed a fair bit.
Seat bars were bought from Harry Hockly motorsport www.hh-ms.com £86.32 or around that +VAT
Yup not hanging around on this one, want the shell sorted and ready for paint by late september.
I intend to fit my novas LET, different clutch (helix 6 paddle), GT3071 instead of the GT3076 and a differeny IC setup to suit the corsa. |

| Re: Corsa turbo build Benn it would have meant getting a length of CDS tube, cutting it to length then fabricating some seat mounts for it. TBH i wanted it to look proper as well, did not really want any bits of square box section holding the seats in. |

| Re: Corsa turbo build I just removed all that sound deadening and tar stuff from my corsa project car. What a nightmare that was. Ended up using the angle grinder on it. also found a bit of rust where the rubber grommets go through the floor, and I now have a few big holes that will need welded up. Still at least no rust in load bearing areas. |

What's happening with the Nova? I thought this was going to be your cheap fun track car while the Nova goes for big power?
