Less is more. | I can relate to that as I always just wanted an XE'd Corsa with 2.0 brakes in white with 15" compomotives but instead I have just bought what has caught my eye and it has snow-balled into well, i'm not sure what?
Are you still planning on selling the shocks fella, I am getting a little concerned as you seem to be umming and arring over your options and I do not want to keep the money to one side and miss out on a holiday as a result.

Looks a good base for a project, just don't get carried away!

| Re: Corsa turbo build Go on holiday Wayne as i might throw them on the corsa. If not i would hang onto them for you.
Once i get home the sound proofing is coming out and the tar matting. Also the rear seat brackets will be getting removed and the helf dash will be coming out, probably with the wiring loom to make fitting the cage easier.

Got to agree on the nova vs corsa shell statements, Corsa shell is just much more solid and rigid, and newer=less rust.
Its just a shame they dont look cool at all
Although a stripped track corsa is very cool | Mate the corsa looks far better than the nova...Corsa B is the best vauxhall have come up with for the small sport hatch and the 1600 is a beast of a look get a 2000 plate 1.6 Sport in Arden Blue it takes the pants off the nova and spanks it! |

Whilst I enjoy having something to tinker with on a weekend it annoys me to fek how many stupid things have broken on it. It's currently sat up in the drive because the gear linkage has broken, twice.
If you want a reliable car for the track (IMO) then buy a car that has the engine that is MEANT to be in there; 1.6 corsa, 1.9 205 etc. Get some massive brakes on it, cage and suspension and just keep driving it..

| Re: Corsa turbo build def make it easier to weld cage in now, without fear of melting wires. if pop up to mine, you will see how much of the loom can be binned!!
and if rung tweeks they tell you 10-14days for custom cage? |
