Well here is a update.
Well Jay dropped his car off last night (17/08/08) right from picking his engine up, arrived at mine about 9pm.
After rolling out of my bed at dinnertime i took the car to my garage/unit an began work. By 5pm this is as far as i got.
Found a few bits missing and need to sorce BUT most of the work on the engine is done. Only real time comsuming is New custom Boost pipes and Exhaust system.
Jay has not asked for the car back until Sept 11th so i will finish it off asap then use it for a few weeks as my everyday run about to make sure all is 100%.
Enjoy, will keep the updates coming....... |

| Re: Arden Blue C20LET Build Cheers guys
Work is coming along quickly.
Shouldnt be too long before its done, im having a few things replaced such as oil pump, water pump, timing kit, gaskets with brand new ones even though when I saw the engine and went for a test drive it seemed spot on but its just for piece of mind.
Its running eds phase 2 chips but it has a switchable function so you can change between standard power and more boost I believe? Think it should take it up to around the 240-260 mark?
Anyone familiar with this?... |
