starting my corsa xe project but some info needed

hi guys rite im starting my corsa xe project today and im starting to write down what i need to do the job and wanting to know who or where can i get sells throttle bodies and a complete fitting guide for the whole thing ive also heard that i have to seem weld the engine bay now whats this and where abouts in the engine do i do it

any help will do appreciated please cheers damo

the only welding that needs doing is the cross member,what year is the corsa as the later ones had strengthening on the cross member as standard, you can buy the kit off chris astley, qed do direct to head throttle bodies, or sbd also but i think qed would be cheaper

how much do you want to spend?
what your plabns for the car?
what brakes/suspension etc etc etc

need to know as much info about what your after from the car as poss.

do searches on google for:

QED
SBD
Jenvey

all sell throttle bodie kits. id suggest the QEd direct to head bodies, as for fitting, its not difficult, but you've got to get the car mapped on a rolling road anyway, so, if had to they will fit/make loom, and set it all up for you.

Rallyman off here will do all your mounts and stuff like hubs aswell. when i did my LET i used cavalier shafts and machined cavalier hubs(so they fit into the corsa bearing). as i say Rallyman off here will sort you out that stuff

thanks for the info chaps hopefully tha corsa will be a s plate ive just bought my doner car i k reg calibra its a shame as the car ins in immaculate condition comes with 16" alloys and full black leather im selling them both and and will make my money bck for wat i paid for the car only cost me £450

but i cannot upload pics how come any ideas how i can upload the pics to show the doner car please

got this today as my doner car for my corsa
its a calibra wiv a c20xe running approx 165bhp wil 145k on the clock car is fantastic condition with no rust anywhere got full leather interior 16" alloys in great condition with 2 new tyres and shed loads of service history mot till next june and still has 3 months tax but im gutting it and stripping the lot so all parts upfor sale i.e interior and alloys bumpers doors bonnet

so i think ive got a good deal at £450 for the whole car dont you think or shud i just strip this down and use this as a track car or do the corsa?
