| Re: My Corsa and the future.... ahaaa no way, i was watching that on ebay - it's sickening how cheap these engines can get ! Looks like a good buy though, looks very clean and looked after !!
Very solid engines with not much to go wrong, good choice

| Re: My Corsa and the future.... well the engine is home and will be tucked up for a month until i've got some more cash ready to get her all serviced and ready for installing.
So this week i've collected together...
Cav 20SEH engine and F16WR box
Cav SRi 130 oil filter
Cav MKIII 2.0 ecotec calipers & and new pads
Steering wheel boss hub kit
Corsa B 2.0 exhaust adaptor/de-cat pipe
Cav MKII haynes manual
Cav SRi AFM
Cav MKIII SRi throttle body
and also brought a full set of super duper bulbs for the headlights from 'Powerbulbs'
So until next month i'm poor again lol |

| Re: My Corsa and the future.... i'm still slowly collecting the last few bits together to start this little project. Got all the bit's to service the engine expect a damn oil pump as they seem to be like hen's teeth but got lower gasket set, full head gasket set and head bolts, water pump, complete clutch, valve stem seals etc. The haed is going to sent off to have a light skim and then we'll rebuild the engine over the next month and get it all cleaned and painted up ready to go in.
End of Jan as long as money good i've got to retax the car, insure it (1600 TPFT - with all mod's declared) i'll get the new black arches on, the corsa sport spoiler, and finally my alloys too .
i've pic ked up a new slasm panel which i'll fit with the new engine, also need to get a new starter motor as the one from my engine wouldn't be good enough .
apart fom that hopefully as it's the new year i might have some new energy and actually start painting and powder coating bits so there all nice and new looking to go in the bay.
Bye for now folks |

hope that makes sence hehe |
what he said! i had to do this in mine, i remember mine didnt have a pin and i had to bridge the connector with a bit of solid core mains wiring from a house. cannot remember how i worked out which space to use but it must be simple as im not great with wiring.
as an aside, to make your temperature gauge on the dash display work just get a temp sensor off a higher model corsa in a scrap yard, its found on the wee vertical brace that runs up the front panel infront of the radiator. the wiring should be in your car for it already!
