Re: My Corsa and the future....

Well yesterday fitted the clock, and glovebox, and GSi clocks but couldn't find the ash tray 12v feed so didn't fit that, then gave the Corsa of justice a quick wash and 2 coats of the new 'autoseal' wax.....

Re: My Corsa and the future....

dial's went in quite easy, had to disconnect the speedo at the gearbox and cut a holding cut so i could pull some of the cable through the rev gauge doesn't work put i've put that down there being no sensor the other end, which hopefully the red top will have when i eventually hear back from mate so i collect the damn thing!

and the new glovebox too

Re: My Corsa and the future....

if i can hit 200bhp il be happy... thing is i love my music so want to keep a decent sized install, just have it tucked away under false floor or somethin to keep the stripped out look.i wnt it 2 LOOK stripped out, but there's still gonna be the luxurys, ie electrics, install etc so she'll still have fair biut of weight...200bhp should keep her quick!

Re: My Corsa and the future....

Well with the weather being so nice today i decided with the help of my mates to fit my replacement front bumper and my FK coilovers. The front went on very very easy, but with the bolts missing from the strut tops for the back and a fruitless effort to fit any in my collection of junk, we fitted the standard shocks with the lowering springs

didn't get chance to take any good pic's the light ran out and i was knackered

got to take it to have the tracking done tomorrow morning as it's now seriously out and we couldn't get the damn nuts to undo on the bar so gave up

Re: My Corsa and the future....

the wire to make the rev counter work is already in you just have to extent it, you can find it next to the ecu there a conector with 9 wires in and one is bright pee green that doesnt go thought onto the tot of the conector, you need to extend this wire to the back of the clocks no sure which bit it goes on on its one of the empty pins on the top in the middle of the plug that the clocks clip on to

hope that makes sence hehe
