| My Nova 1.2i Rebuild I've had this Nova since Feb 2007 and carried out a fair bit of work to it
Its had a full new front panel inc cross-member, 2 front wings, 2 sills, new back beam
Heres some pics from the quite long rebuild:
Back beam - Before and after
GSi sideskirts before and after:

| Re: My Nova 1.2i Rebuild I noticed my air-filter was getting a bit warm once we had been out and about in the car
So my dad got me a Mk4 Astra intake pipe from a scrap-car and we cut a hole out the plastic/rubber bit that surrounds the radiator on the Nova
We then routed it so it was coming directly from the front of the car and leading right inside the air-filter
Hopefully this should make a difference to the temperature going into the filter |

| Re: My Nova 1.2i Rebuild Went to the scrappy today to be greeted by a 1993 K reg Nova Spin in white with, wait for it, 15k miles on the clock - Unbelievable!
Interior mint, boot mint, engine bay mint - Passenger door mint!! Which came home with me for £30
I also got the parcel shelf out it which is as new condition and the boot strut as mines was leaking
There was a Calibra there as well and I nabbed another set of Heated seat switches and an original Grundig 303 radio
All of the above came to £50 for me and I thought it was money well spent
Till the next time, Vaughan |

| Re: My Nova 1.2i Rebuild Mini update:
My new / scrap door - Its about 98% mint
I was rubbing down some of the surface rust on the bottom of the door and there was an odd looking patch kind of in the middle
Rubbed it down a wee bit more and it became a wee slight hole *as will be shown on the pics below*
Kept cracking on with the rest of the door and its truely mint - Needs a good dust out from the inside but heres some pics - Still a bargain for £30 I'd say:
The hole:

| Re: My Nova 1.2i Rebuild Mini update:
I should be picking up a 3" Magnex S/S backbox at the Scotland meet for the Nova
Should set the back end off nicely and sound not too bad as well
Nothing too big as that would be overkill on the 1.2 - Will be good to see it fitted

| Re: My Nova 1.2i Rebuild lol If anything it will stay old skool - I.E 8v Power!!
At the Vauxhall Meet today I picked up my Magnex S/S backbox and centre section from a lad off the PNG - Nice one
I also picked up a set of 'indicator tinted' Twin Fog lights from Iain Talbot from PNG as well - Money well spent
I need to get a bigger exhaust clamp to fit the backbox on but that shouldn't be a problem
Got the Twin Fog's fitted when I got home and they look so much smarter
Heres the pics:
Bit of both:
Fitted:
