| Xe'd Kit Car Well after doing Conversion's for and with other people(you know who you are) I thought I'd do some thing for my self as people were saying it's about time I did.
Didn't really know wot to do as I've been down the route of Xe'd Nova's and Corsa's and a Cavalier Turbo's so I decided I wanted to do something different.
After much thought I decided I wanted a kitcar but which type.
After much thought I decided on a Tiger Super Cat.
Today I took delivery of this
It's based on a Sierra running gear (which I haven't got yet) but I'm gona be putting my Xe engine in it which I removed from my Nova.
I'm planning on it being about 180Bhp but in a Car that weight's naff all will be quite quick.
Here's wot I'm hoping it look's like when it's done |

| Re: Xe'd Kit Car Thats awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what sort of price are you looking at for what you've bought, and how much will the rest of the bits cost to get it running?

| Re: Xe'd Kit Car It's cost me £4800 for the kit which includes nearly every thing you need to get it up and running i need a Sierra for the hubs, Steering column and rear end and Box. I recon prob another 1.5k to get it up and running and finish'd i hope but that's including exhaust, wheels, and managment |

| Re: Xe'd Kit Car double the 1.5k IMO by the time you account for donor, new bearings, rack etc, musroom adaptors for the front, exhaust system, wheels, tyres, management, loom, sva, gearbox, prop welding................

| Re: Xe'd Kit Car Still..... nice project to get your teeth into instead of scraping years of oil & rust out of a Nova's engine bay.
It looks like a nice conventional Lotus 7 type car as opposed to some of these godawfull kit cars that attempt to be concept cool looking.
Keep us posted.

| Re: Xe'd Kit Car Bit of an update.
Been doing some painting on the chassis this week end by Firstly painting it Red Oxide .
Next up we painted it Black Smooth Hamerit
Went for this option as it's a hell of a lot cheaper than paying £140 for Powder Coating + not a lot of the Chassis is gona be on show. |
