Corsa Maxi rally car

Over the last two years ive building a Corsa rally car after i sold my Nova i used to rally.

Ive finally got round to putting my progress up on here.

I found a nice shell in South Wales which you might have seen for sale on ebay.





This was on the way back to its new home!

Seen that shell before, looks very nice and very well built!!!

Use photobucket instead and it will resize them for you when you upload them!!

Breif spec - well what ive got for it.

Martin Bowyer 1600 16v engine (when its ever done)!!!!
F20 5 speed dog box
Harry Hockly gear linakge
355 mm rotors with AP 4 pots for the front
Solid rear discs with AP 2 pots for the rear
Walden wide track rear beam
Walden wide track front bottom arms with HHMS tie rods and mounts
Widened steering arms with rose joints
Power steering column with quick rack (with lock limiters)
3 way Proflex all round with modified front strut bodies for extra wide track
Motordrive pro seats
Stack dash in custon carbon surround
Flocked dash
Willwood floor mount pedals
Carbon floors
Carbon door cards
All bradied brake lines and fuel lines running inside of the car

Loads of other littler bits and bobs that ive missed.
Got a new camera so going out this weekend to take some progress snaps.

It'll be just used for tarmac - its too pretty for the forests!

As ive had the car for a while ill post some pictures of the Corsa in its current state.

I bought a second hand dog box that needed a new casing, when i took the cluster out i found it needed a new 1st and 2nd dog gear, also a 1st/2nd dog selector!! So i gave the box a full rebuild

Thats it for now - got to wait to get the engine back so i can see what room ive got to lay the brake lines etc in the engine bay.
Calipers and rotors should be arriving next week - ill post pics when they do.
Still loads more £££££s and work to do!!
