Do you mean the inlet or exhaust? The exahaust manifold was from Tony Law and the inlet im not sure of but pretty sure SBD sells them. As far as prices, i dont know as i bought it all at one fixed price with the engine.

Right then, Release bearing came today, so i got started on fitting the engine.
Ive used a standard F20 release bearing (genuine because they are metal and not plastic) as recomended by Martin.

Then i fitted the engine onto the gearbox.
As with everything on this bl00dy car it was not striaght forward fit. I had to file a little bit off the sump to allow clearence.

Then i shuffled the engine under the car (fitting an engine on your own is a right ball ache) to bring it into the engine bay from underneath.

Then to bring the engine up into place and bolt up the mounts

Then came the problem.... Thought is was going too well!!
I bolted up the rear mount - no problem
I bolted up the left mount - bit fiddlerly and im going to have to file the holes larger but minor problem.



Then tried to bolt the right gearbox mount and.........





Does not line up. Now this i think is to do with the fabricated left hand side mount and the engine looks like it needs to go back on the gearbox side.
Its just part of a long list of problems i got when i bought a load of parts off a bloke in Wales.
Going to have another look tomorrow.

solid mounts often give these sorts of issues mate, loosen all the bolts off in the other mounts and get a lever bar to shift the engine about, will probably need a hand to do this though, mine is an absolute bitch to get lined up, normally i fit the two front mounts and then lever the engine between the box and chassis to get the rear one on, i also slotted the rear gearbox mount a tocuh where it bolts to the chassis

on the plus side, looks nice in the bay

oh and make sure you open the holes out on the offside mount before you do the above otherwise you'll have to start again when you take that off to do it

Yeah, ive got to open them up anyway - so that all the four bolts fit. Plus there is that much paint in there. Bit of overkill with the hammerite!

Looking good Rob, the bloke in Wales is probably the same guy i used for the mounts (Keith Daniels) he copies the HH mounts, when i got mine the kit was not complete but we did get there in the end.

Yeah thats the cow boy!!! Bought along with a sump guard with a mount missing, a braided brake kit with the rear part completly missing and a peddle box the nothing to connect it to the pedal!!

Ive not used his rear mount as i cant get it to fit. Going to get some decent bolts today and have another go.

Righty then, after 8 hours of filing, grinding, lifting, lowering, twisting and baring its finally in!!!!!

Also fitted the dash back in - its 750rpm short of the limiter but ill have to live with it!

I know i know!!! Shocking, ive got keep reminding myself that its a rally carlmao

I nearly scratched the front crossmember but luckily my finger was in the way. Well that was my original thought until the extreme pain!!!!
