If you ring them Ste they are spot on and extreamly helpful. Just give them the i/d of your bearing and they'll find one to suit.

Steve, Ive just started making my own as the Mcgill are designed for american stock car racing, hence loads of play in the bearing (drop in fit rather than push fit). Also the circlip grove is cut for an american style circlip and British ones dont sit in properly. Trust me on that, i got a bench full i can send you! (Sorry Rob!)

Have you cut the old carriers off? I can either copy what you have, with a better bearing fit, or if you send me the dimensions your after I can work from that.

Goinmg to run all the wires down the exhast tunnel. Also getting a ali center console made to house the cut off, starter switch and ign switch.

Hi mate, Once you get your head round it, its not as scary as you first think!

Got the carbon stuff from here REAL CARBON FIBER SHEET STICK ON 500MM X 250MM RALLY on eBay (end time 26-Feb-10 08:52:25 GMT)

the pisser is that you'll need two as by the time you've split it up into four it doesn't make it very wide! Uou'll end up with left over if you buy two depending on how wide you want the strips. Not sure how good it'll be though as its stuck good but if i gets scuffed i think it will start to peel.

The new engine is just completed. First test is a gravel rally at this weekend. I will post all the progress of engine rebuild and performance after the rally.

That Corsa has been for sale for a while now maybe the wide arch thing isnt what its cracked up to be

I reckon its because the arch kit is poor and its a 2.0 which isnt good for rallying.

Big block small block argument doesnt work in rallying imo the small block is the only way to however if youre doing trackdays etc the big block offers cheap bhp, but its still a big heavy lump :-)
