Glad to hear that, we wish your baby a long and happy life. Sorry for your car keys, at least you still have the car that is much better than vice versa. Nice pictures that you send, waiting for more. by the way, what is the cost of a wiring for a corsa in England?
Best wishes you all,
Azmi

Thanks azzmi!
Prices vary i think on the quailty of parts used. I know someone has spent 20k on connectors alone but he's using fly by wire everything -awseome bit of kit!
I think around 2000 would be the going rate for a proper rally wiring bloke to do it - im sure you could get this a lot cheaper from a autoelctrician.
Byron, who will be doing my is doing it as a favour so itll be a little cheaper. he'll be using circuit breakers vice fuses and proper aircraft spec wiring and connectors. Cant wait!!
All the best
Rob

Pisser about the keys; although after what you told me when I was last at your house I'm surprised your back door wasn't locked?![]()
I didn't think you'd get the rear windows in with the seals, absolute tw@ of a job IMO lmao
New wing mirrors look big![]()

Hi Azzmi,
What trouble you having? Are they the ones on ebay?

Hello Rob,
my trouble is my camshafts comes from BJ motorsports, I followed the KCBJ (23 and 24) prefix and reached to kent cams. they said they did grind the cams for BJ motorsports, and gave their duration and lift values (I mentioned here before 280ex 284in about 11.7 mm max lift) but there is no lobe seperation angle and lift @ tdc values which are necessary to make timing the cams. I have marked the verniers in case of I could't find any data but I like to check their correctness also.
all the best,
azmi

Not sure if this is the place your looking for ?

They tend to specialise in Vauxhall engines
Might be worth a call
Dave
Hi Azzmi,
in order to get it running the cams you have could be timed in 3,5 +/- 0,5 mm open in inlet and 2,5 +/-0,5 in exhaust. You should check how much space you have for the valve to be opened at TDC, this is to make sure your pistons no not hit with the valves when running. The initial set-up for the timing needs dyno drive in my opinion. We have found remarkable differences with few degree changes.
Hello mates,
thank you for your replies,
since I am not such a social personI don't prefer make overseas telephone calls. Besides I believe I can express myself and situation more easy as writing. (of course somebody should read alsolmao) Anyway, thank you dave I posted a mail to their info. Corsa-finn, I actually have a starting point that I recorded the timing values before remove the cams. I am just curious about the exact values. After all I'll make a dyno test as you pointed.
Between topics,
which compression ratio do you use calculated or actual (smaller than calculated value because of inlet cam timing). I made a computer simulation for my engine, 1:12.5 CR (calculated) reduced to 1:10.4 (actual CR).
thank you for your valuable opinions.

Credit crunch arch fillers!!
Was going to get kevlar ones but could do with saving some money so i thought i give it a go making some myself.
First i tried the standard ones but as its got widetrack wings they didn't fit right.
