| Re: Project Deathtrap: Jack's 1.2 Corsa Its the exact reason im stuck with just the one car.
Mines cheap as fook to insure, using my ncb etc
So I rung up and got a quote on a 1600 astra van as a daily runner and they wanted £1200, as a new policy.... ( i pay about £420 on the nova......), so that was the end of that idea. |

| Re: Project Deathtrap: Jack's 1.2 Corsa Not stictly the correct way of doing it but.......... if you already have a policy in your name you could always insure the corsa in someone elses name with you as a named driver. |

| Re: Project Deathtrap: Jack's 1.2 Corsa I can't do that either Melv. Needs to be my own policy in my own name. I'll shop around. It's not a big deal at the moment, just shopping around. |

And a perfectly good reason; rubber hoses are £8 a pair!
No idea at all. It might be low on fuel, I just can't bloody believe that it was fine last weekend and now doesn't want to know. |

| Re: Project Deathtrap: Jack's 1.2 Corsa Dude... socks are £1 for three pairs at Asda! Cheaper than washing them!
I put an RS2000 rear beam on an Escort a few weeks ago and the amount of problems we had with the ****ing brake hoses... it can't hurt having some new ones to slip on. Can't wait to get the suspension and the brakes on! |
