a bit, and also, finding time with having a 19month old kid aint easy lol...

to be fair craig, i've had the engine over 1 year

originally was ment to go in the white one, but just lost movtivation to do work, after getting rid of the old nova

He has everything bar a few mincey bits. Everything is there to get the engine out and get the majority of the new bits in.

what i need - i think, poss missed a few bit's

lower alt mount for early xe alt
short shift or modded linkage JR on corsasport's got one for me iirc
few water pipes
cam belt kit & rollers
water pump
sump gasket
inlet gasket
exhaust manifold gasket
few exhaust nuts
oil filter screw
oil & filter
coolant etc etc

and the twin part is quite a bit longer?

had a quick mince at the garage today...

out comes rad




followed by airbox, headertank & battery tray




followed by manifold and im left with this..




also disconnected clutch, engine loom, accelerator cable,

all that left to do now is, gear linkage & fuel pipe's, then i and whip engine out




found out a few things to day - need a new rad, as the 1.0 12v is different
and the post 97 or 1.0 12v had different mounts for the front mount on the air box, so my pre-97 gsi one wont fit - sorted that though, can use the car's original bottom, with gsi top half


and thats all folk's
