XE inlet cam seems a popular budget choice. bit more aggressive but you need a vernier pulley to get the most from it. cant remember exaclty what the best timing setup is but you need to retard it im sure, maybe half a tooth or somethin like that. loads on here have done it so have a wee search about and you'll find some info no doubt

Re: my corsa-c c20let conversion

I have one on mine and it is fine, but if you like, put two on...

One on the bolt, then put the banjo on, then a washer, then bolt it up!!

Re: my corsa-c c20let conversion

If crank sensor is knacked then the fuel pump won't work as it goes through the fuel pump relay

www.autovaux.com for new crank sensor

if the spark plugs are sparking then the crank sensor isnt faulty.

did you electrically test the fuel pump relay injector feed wire like i said earlier? or just try a new fuel pump relay

Hiya mate, need to see if the ecu is getting the info to show the engine is turning over, unplug you ecu get a multi meter put it on ac voltage and go on pin 49 and earth with the other lead, crank the engine and it should read 1.4 volts or higher,if you get that then the crank sensor is good and so is the info plug in the ecu back in and put your mutli meter on 12vdc and unplug the airflow meter connect to pin 5 blue/red crank the engine it should switch to 9v or higher under cranking and bat voltage when running, and it would be and idea to power up the injectors just to check there not seized,if the engine has not ran for a long time the injectors can seize ive had 2 c20lets over the years do this to me, just put a 12 volt supply to the injector and each one should make a nice clean clicking sound if no sound comes of the injector its faulty

You need a washer on each face of the Banjo joint, so two per bolt.

Re: my corsa-c c20let conversion

the distributor isnt anything to do with the fuel pump mate. plus if you are getting a spark then the distibutor is working!!

its the thin red/blue wire coming from the fuel pump relay you need to check to make sure the injectors are getting power. its the same as checking the pin on the air flow meter as the wire feeds the power to the airflow meter and the injectors plus other sensors.

unplug your ecu and look at the plug , the the pins are layed out like a letter T the bottom row should have 55 at one end and 38 at the other, start at 55 and count 7 back that should be pin 49(grey/black), the disi has a hall sensor built in, it is only a cam sensor (so it can run sequential injection) it will still trip the fuel pump in with the disi un pluged, all the ecu needs to put power to the fuel pump is a crankshaft signal
