hi all bit more done today got all the underside undersealed ready for the start of the big build up tomorrow








dont think it will take to long now

had a full day on the car yesterday so got a bit done

how the engine bay is now looking


as im not having a heater (save weight) a little mod was needed


how it looks inside at the mo we stripped out all the wires that were not needed more
weight saved


boot lid on phase 2


then fitted all the back end with the shocks and springs that im using and also replaced the diff oil at the same time this is how it sits now


and then one last shot with the rear bumper on starting to look like a car agen now

Wow Really looking forward to seeing this done, y u not having a heater? ur gonna have to loop the matrix feed and return on the engine too

yea thats right we are just tryin to get it as light as poss and as its only going to be driven in the summer and nice days for trackdays and weekend fun

looking nice mate. im also building a track car with no heater - did you weld up the hole for the blower motor?

no mate we just put the top cover back in place and then sealed in a bit of ally we had ling around more to stop the draft than anything

did u weld up the holes where the matrix pipes went through or str you puting rubber grommits in there?

We used grommets to fill the holes up just incase he ever wanted to put a heater back in

we i think its about time we had a bit of a update well we have all been working hard the engine is now in and wired up the prop has been shortend and is now on all the break lines are on new discs and pads alround just need bleeding and iv got my seats in hoping to have it running next weekend got a few pics so ill get them up

Should be running this weekend and test the 4x4 on it to make sure it works then it's off for a full 3" Turbo back System then Mot

it only running 280bhp at the mo but will be going for more power next year the engine was only had a re build 7000 miles ago so dont want to rip it apart agen just yet plus want to make sure we get all the bugs out of the 4x4 first

dont really want to put a date on it as they all end up going out the window but i hope within the next 6-8 weeks
