Nova sprint c turbo

Thought i would put a thread on here seeing as i use this site alot. Ive had this car since i was 17. It started life as a standard 1.2 merit plus. since then it has been converted to a 1.6 then 2l 16v and now a c20let. Heres a few pics of it various stages.

Onve i had all the engine in and finished i started it up and the cambelt slipped destroying the head! So i had the engine completly rebuilt with a reconed hybrid turbo.

Then came the chance to purchase this sprint c kit, at the time i was bored with the nova and its looks so i thought sod and brought it. since then ive had many problems and set back but ive finally finished it (well almost)

then i finally got round to having it sprayed for a bargain £500

The car is certainly not a concours build but im happy with it and it should be alot of fun.

I will update with the full spec and further updates soon

Was looking like a real nice nova until that kit went on, now it looks ****ing awful and definatly resembles a dimma kitted r5.
Oh well, as long as you like it, thats all that matters.

wheels are the correct wheels for the kit so they wont be changed. the kit is far from some ****ty dimma kit. it is a genuine irmscher kit used for rallying in the 80's.

mate not really interested in comments like '****ing' awful so dont bother wasting your time. that goes for any one else with the same opinion.

reason i put a thread up on this site is seeing as it is a vauxhall site and with it being a very rare genuine kit i thought there mite be some interest.

i like the retro kit, im sure your going to hear more comments about the wheels, but i think another wheel choice could set it off even more, perhaps a rally orientated design to keep with the heritage of the kit?

You dont want any comments unless they are good
Everyone has their opinion mate, if you dont like it then why post up about your car on a site that has a reply comments facility? Not everyone will think your car is nice.
It looked really nice with the multispoke and std arches, youve spolit it imo

looks nice and retro, is that the same kit that was on the nova spider convertibles

looks different from the usuall subtle gsi kitted novas with speedlines, its nice to see a change from the usuall mundane stuff
