My 2nd Astra Sri Turbo

i had a modified silver one last year after 7 years with a mk3 gsi really loved the car but decided to get sensible and bought mrs a seat leon 130 tdi and me an astra sportive van.
Managed a month with the van and hated it so after a few job changes etc i raised money and decided only car for me was another sri turbo love there limited nos and prefer there styling to gsi so here it is totally standard so blank canvass for me this time already love the car to bits but to quite.

The astra sportive van i hated

My last Sri Turbo (miss the rear lights)

The Astra Gsi i had 7 years R.I.P

yea pretty much probably missed something else guess its all down to personale choice plus i could not afford a gsi with the miles as low as this so sri t it had to be.

plans are along lines of my last one eibachs 50/30 very soon, then ill decide on new exhaust then after that vxr turbo and intercooler and remap etc ideally i was gonna buy one already modified but this came along at right price with low miles so ill have to change things myself also fancy few track days in it as my weekend car only.
Oh and want to colour code bump strips as they look crap at moment do they come of easy?

I loved my mk3 should never have broke it but was only option at time due to rust id have another but there big work now and dont have time or pace to do one up properly so mk4 it was

Yes their dead easy to take off, just open the door a little bit then give them a push from the front and they just pop off

Re: My 2nd Astra Sri Turbo

well no update for ages been busy driving car a lot, then gave it major service:
cambelt
waterpump
oil change/filter
iridium spark plugs
few samco hoses more to come
polished pipe
blueflame cat back exhaust

then was time for some tyres but instead bought these corsa vxr rims 18" and its getting lower next week
