| http://www.mk1oc.com/forum/ is the place to go for parts.
Maybe it would be an idea to fabricate your own mounts if possible. Has the engine bay been strengthened and welded to cope with the engine change? |

| Ill be signing up to that site shortly, i've already been on there and found some useful tech info and some great looking mk1's. As for strengthening nothings been done to it yet and it'll have to stay that way for a while sadly. I was looking at fabricating a front engine mount to tie the engine to the front cross member to ease the strain on the other mounts |

| How come you opted for Mk3 Struts, and what have you done with the Mk1 ones?
MK1 Struts have the taper for the trackrod end running the other way as Mk1 bolt up through the leg, whilst Mk2/3 bolt down through the leg. Makes it better for bump steer |

| blar blar. heard it all before. the next one will be , and i quote "yeah but its still a corsa though"
weez did you get the header tank new or from the breakers? gona need one for mine because of the inlet will foul the corsa one. saw that cav one mounted on someone elses around the strut which will surfice for me. not keen on these bailey things. bit of a waste imo. inlet should be good by the looks of things so far. if your still keen on bits for the caddy i should be able to do something as gona be on the vmc alot when i get back to work. not machining them by hand again for ****!! also have you got a honing tool? |
