Re: my nova

whent to workshop to see how the bodies fit on head and how much room there is.

i dont like the idea of having these bodies open for dirt to get into the head so i will be looking to by a filt kit for them if any1 knows where i can get one il be very greatfull.also thinking of moding the bodies to have the water takeoff.

Re: my nova

what do you need the water take off for?

Re: my nova

u used tights? well u know on the normal xe inlet, theres a pipe that comes down and joins into a plastic tube that runs along the bk of the head.well the bodies have alredy got a hole carved in them where the water comes out of head,i was thinking of drilling it out and tap and die it screw a pipe to it and then have a flexi pipe going from it to the plastic one.just a thought.

sweet and what sorta angle would they be?
like if you placed a straight edge on-top of the cam cover how far would they be sticking up beyond the straight edge?

Re: my nova

they come up at the angle of the inlet flange,

is there a manifold on there or do they simply bolt on at the bodies?

Re: my nova

the valves are only 1mm oversize but they do look mazive once there in the head.my friend did all the work, stipd the hole head put all the new parts in,and the solid lifters take some time skimd it slight posting but i bought the kit,he presure test it all and its 110% the bill came to 225 pound i thought was cheap what you think?

Re: my nova

Got my boost valve and the filter for my throttle bodies today so i whent and had a look how the filter fitted as room was tight already with the bulk head and the trumpets.

After some reserch and some phone calls i found that demon tweeks were actualy the cheapest for a change

as you can see its tight but it looks good
