| Re: my nova Here is a pic of the throttle bodies re spaced out to suit the inlet manifold.i also hav fitted the xe fuel rail and had a small braket made to hold the rail in place.
The nxt job with these is to fit the xe throttle position sencor switch and make all the bodies open at the same time. |

| Re: my nova Single cable goes at the end Craig.
And then the spindles turn each throttle body open.
The spindle levers are going to need extending.
Out of interest why are you trying to get the xe tps etc fitted? If your trying to run these on the standard ecu your wasting your money/time IMO
EDIT-Ahh, your using MS v3. In that case dont use the xe tps as its not a tps, its a switch. Use the one thats already on the throttle bodies as standard. |

| Re: my nova Hmmm, if you cant easily make it fit, just chop the wires on the xe loom and join them with the std tb tps.
And as said, Xes dont have a proper POT throttle sensor, its just a basic switch. MS needs a varying POT tps. |

| Re: my nova Erm, because look at your pics?
Theres now a 1/4" gap inbetween the spindle lever on each body(the gold bit with the springs etc), they should be touching(which is how one linkage opens all four bodys simultaneously) |

****in awesome build, i would use the tps that came with the TBs and bend over the spindles so they interconnect.
P.S. the first set of TBs look like CBR F1 bodies |

| Re: my nova The first bodies are honda cbr 1000 thay hav a 43mm bore but as you can see thay do not split into 4 but into 2 plus it would be harder to make a box for them because theres nothing to hold onto.
Ive made the biggest choice of my life the other day,in september i will be starting a new job going to colage once a week and my wages will go from 22k to 12k.But i am thinking of the future as the prospecs are much better and i wownt hav to travel and do a lot of over time lol.So this means the car will take much longer to finish because of funds, but ive nearly finish coleting the parts for the engine so i could put the engine in when its finishd and hav sum fun with it as it looks lol. |

| Re: my nova Got some work done today,me and my mate decided to do the chasi leg and put a spare bloc and head in to make sure ther is enough clearance.
Im geting the manifold back this week so i will put it on the head along with the bodies to se how much room i hav for a air box to be made.
Me and my mate were also thinking of bringin the air flow pipe through the dizzy side as ther is more room this side of the head not sure yet still thinking bout it. |
