| 1.8 vectra project hi my names rob im 19 and im a newbie to the site so hi all... i am formaly a member of mk3oc.com. untill just before christmas when i sold my astra, i replaced it with the vectra im goin to be posting about on here, its a white 1.8 ls salloon on a t plate, i payed £250 quid for it with no tax or test, it cost me 30 quid in parts for the mot (2 bulbs a bottom ball joint and anti roll bar link) and 20 quid for the mot, i then later fitted a set of 235/45/17 fox evo 3 alloys wich i got for £50 wich are in perfect condition and only needed 2 tyres i then found a zigen 5" exhaust for a skyline at work and cut n shut to fit the 3" cat back system i made from scratch im hoping to have coilovers in the next cuple of weeks and hopfully eventualy a "touring car lookie like vectra " minus alot of the decals pics will be up shortly cheers |

| Cool base to start a project from & a bargain price for the veccy BTW
3" system is utterly pointless on a 1.8 however Im sure it cant do much harm if any - Performance isnt exactly what the 1.8 veccy is renowned for anyway.
Personally Id throw a GSI front bumper on the front end & get that exhaust changed or atleast placed further back so it sits flush with the rear bumper - Will look 10000000x better imo - However its your car so if you like it like that then fair play
those wheels in white would look rather cool aswell - kinda along the BTTC rep theme
Good luck with it ! |
