z20let corsa c conversion

Hi there i'm currently getting all the parts for a z20let conversion for my 54 plate corsa 1.8 sri.

i've had the car since 6 mths old.about a year ago i wanted to start modifing it,so i firstly got an exhaust and filter then remapped and got a healthy 139.5bhp and 137 lb/ft torque.

Which was nice.so then i changed the springs, and got a h&r front roll bar and at the same time a rear whiteline roll bar kit and quickshift.all excellent mods!.

i ran this for 6 mths and as you do got used to the power and wanted more so i gathered some cash and went looking for a z20let with box, ecu, transponder and chip.

Which i found on ebay 9 mths ago from a well known custom shop.it had been taken out of an 02 astra gsi turbo with 40k.nice.

so now i'm looking at doing the conversion but firstly this week or next i'm going to be ordering a 314mm vectra c conversion to fit under the std 16" alloys, has been done but still to find out how,i think i can get a pair of spiggot rings from chris astley to get the discs located and my friend can redrill to discs to suit but i don't know if the caliper bolts line up any info would be ace!.

Anyway heres the pics of engine and other parts so you know i'm not wasting anyones time.

Many thanks for sorting the pics out Ginge!

As for the f23 fitting into the corsa i've been told that the 1.7 cdti 05 and on mounts will fit as the corsa 1.7 cdti had a f23 fitted, and the linkage off one.

Driveshafts i don't know of any but the ones mathijssen technics sell?

Anyone?

hubs from m-tech also.

Hope that helps you.

Does any know how i can fit these to my corsa c 1.8 sri

http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/p...at=1438&page=1

The disc centre diameter is 70mm

If i use spiggot rings from Chris astley they would then fit the hub of my corsa(60mm diameter)

My friend can redrill it for me though it may help if anyones got a template for it?

I just need to know if the caliper bolt holes will line up or will i need to make a steel bracket to bolt them in place?

I spoke to LMF and they say it won't fit but its already been done to this one pic and fit under the std 16" rims.

pic.

Right then a little update

Alittle lighter in the pocket today as i picked up my new brakes!

I've bought a set of vectra 3.2 calipers,

http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j2...g?t=1202743852

http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j2...g?t=1202743866

Although no with the carriersso they did them for £259inc discs and pads as the carriers are £65 so they say from vauxhall(i haven't phoned and confirmed that)As i told them lmf's price of £315 so they would match it.

mintex pads to fit.

http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j2...g?t=1202743647

And 314mm 5 stud discs to suit,Sorry no pics as i've all ready sent them of for redrilling and drilling,i've bought some o.e rear discs to be drilled at the same time these will be used as the template for redrilling to 4 stud on the 314mm front dics.

They should look ace under my std 16" sri alloys
