not got much done this week, mainly just cleaning bits and bobs,

made up and dummy fitted my 2wd conversion plate

cleaned up the pipework as im going for a standard look

also got this a few weeks ago and forgot about it (been under my passenger seat for about a month lol)
so i bunged that on

did a lil mock up of the head, mainly just to cheer myself up but secondly to figure out pipe sizes and routing.

not much of an update but comments always welcome.

gonna have an update tommorow night with some piccies of whats arrived,
also got a good price from universal turbos for a hybrid conversion + recon so my kkk will be going down to them some time soon.

also toying with the idea of using this charge cooler rad for an oil cooler, any comments on that welcome.

might compile a full list of whats needed at the end of it too

pretty much only need an ECU now and its all go, been putting off buying one until the engine is fully built to many fraudsters around and i need to know ive got a good un BEFORE i fit the chips.

What an odd conversion (the MFD) Most people would go the other way. Head looks good built up, need to get my covers off to get coated soon too.

lol, got a boost gauge but i definatly dont want it on show, if i do stick a load of gauges in it i may aswell strip it out and lose the "niceness" of a full comfy sport interior.

dont mind the mfd just really hate where it was, looked like an afterthought, just did not like the look of it the dash looks much nicer now as it should (plus i can stick my wallet somewhere now and not forget about it).
getting relocated into the passenger crash panel thing (the cylinder bit)

looking forward to seeing this progress mate if its anything like the quality of the car already.

Only snag I can see is that the standard afm to turbo pipe can collapse under boost. Get a black silicon one form Chris Astley.

theyre not fine at evo5 though, i will in future be replacing it but at the mo its going to have to do untill funds allow, its absolutely immaculate anyway so wont really be out of place just till its all together, going to take off the lip/step on the turbo inlet when i get the stepless pipe too.

few pics just to refresh, not got much done lately just waiting on parts to arrive, ordered saab reds, ECU should be here soon EVO 5 ready fitted gonna sell my mate my other chips.
work done today\/
started like this, had it mocked up ages ago and just left it that way.

started pulling it apart ready to send to universal turbos.
notice something missing??

hmm when i got this vauxmaster told me the oil seal had gone, fook me it was drenched in there

while doing all that got a nock at the door
this could not have come at a better time lol

no more pics as i was getting dirty fingers, the second turbo was robbed of all its bits, recirc water unions actuator.
set about cleaning everything up got the actuator painted up thats black, the water pipes are now silver and have been bent to better suit the corsa.

told ya it would be slow , will be ready for PV08!

Ah, the package goes someway to explaining the username!

I definately prefer the dash with an MFD though.

LMFAO @ you having the engine in the house, you either have a MASSIVE pair of bollocks or there are no women in your household.
