My Corsa XE to LET to XEV Project

yep, in order this week

Built an exhaust on Monday still starts rough as a dog and runs crap on "choke"
Tuesday pulled the plugs out and found 3 had cracked in the ceramic (these were new)
Wednesday fitted new plugs, still starts like a dog backfires and just hard to start so pulled off the timing belt cover and checked that it was timed up right which it was.
Thursday checked another 30 times that the timing was right which it was, checked a few symptoms online which pointed towards crank or cam sensor, so I took them out and ordered new ones from AutoVaux.

I would have set fire to it but I didn't have a lighter which is typical for me, nothing goes to plan.

another thing that didn't go to plan was getting my PAS ppes made up, Mike (corsadonk) had originally agreed to sort it for me ages ago but I ended up falling ill and other things took priority.
not wanting to mess him around I thought I'd just take it up to Pirtek and have them sort it, the guy there said something along the lines of "the pipe didn't fit over my connections" and that I needed the restrictor from the old pipe I explained that the old pipe didn't fit, it was too small, the "restrictor" would have been a foot too short, he showed me the pipe he was "trying" to fit and it looked nothing like what anyones that I'd seen done.
after accepting that I couldn't get it made up to my fittings I asked if he could do anything that would work, he rolled out more speil, basically he couldn't be arsed, so drove to another place I knew and chatted to the guy there, proper down to earth, he even asked if I'd used the garden hosepipe I had (for size) and wether it worked lmao he suggested airbrakeline but only had pipe in stock that was slightly too big, so he referred me to another place that hold the right size in stock.

by this point I had a BANGING headache and went home accepting defeat.

I expected more of godamn Pirtek.

I still would do it for you. but he is right about the restrictor but the rest of it won't be too hard.

the only restrictors I would have ever been in possession of would have been about 300mm long each, I took it there hoping the specialists would know what to do and have the bits to do it, he really didn't seem interested at all, I ended up just getting a full tigra set up from ebay, so hoping that it's not dog rough when it turns up lmao knowing my luck it will be.

if you're at PV on sunday I can bring the pipe along if you can do it with just the pipe (I don't have anything other than the barbed ends and a hosepipe between)
