I thought you got me the 56.0 setup lmao I've just checked both my ECUs and they are both 56.5 lmao

the scrap yards I go to are cheap but they don't usually have the keys for the cars, I mean I can try, I take it you're missing dual tract sensors are causing problems.

Gaz, I'm dissappointed - you could have had my 56.5 all along with the Superchip / customer key and key / transponder. Still available for 90 notes posted if anyone's interested - you all know it makes sense with front door locks and boot lock / extra key for £110 - bargain

yh i did get you 56 but didnt twig until i sent it cus i realised it had no egr, should of known because i had the none egr bracket off it

yh 1 of the faults is too do with variable inlet and the other is to do with secondary air pump relay which is another thing i dont have, ive checked diagrams and what not and powered the pins up, light goes out then comes back on again though and because the eml is on its in limp home mode

so i need 56 for it so it doesnt have them sensors in its system

Liam - are you sure the SAI is putting it in limp? sure it's not something else, I'll see what I can turn up if I get to the yard.

Yes, had EGR but ECU / EGR and loads of other stuff removed when I switched to TBs / DTA ECU.
Good thing with having the superchip programmed in the ECU was that every time I did a mod I could take it to the RR and get the program optimised to get better power gains.
In the early days £250 really well spent, especially as the 56.5 is flash programmable - downside now is that there's no chip to remove (damn!!)

yh i had it plugged in on tech2 once i wired the 16 pin plug in, it came up with camsensor no signal, so changed the cam sensor and that cleared the code down for that and it also flagged up, secondary air pump relay low voltage, inlet switch over valve low voltage

I take it you don't have the wiring for it in your loom either I'll see what I can find but can't promise.

just popped into vauxhall and picked up my block pipe and sort out the trade club for the region, I might have a go at fitting it later, not too sure hows it's gonna work in situ lmao

decide to tackle the rear pipe today, I was going to try from underneath but it seems a bit silly as these engines are too easy to work on in the corsa bay so went in from above.

started by stripping the inlet off, went from this

to this within about half hour

here's my frankenpipe at the rear and you can see it looks so much easier to acess from above

this thing cost around £9 so I had to get it right first time, which I didn't

it went in a bit squiff and then fell out, so I bashed it part way into a spare block I have to start it off which did the trick and let me locate it better so I could knock it in true.

built it back up and filled with coolant, there's still a couple of pipes I want to change around but for now it's working properly and no more leaks!!

quick update, while I've been "ill" and relegated to the use of only one arm I haven't been able to do much.

I can wield a jigsaw though! so I got cracking on the sub box I started on aaaaaages ago.
It's pretty much finished, there's a few inperfections that I'll need to sort and I've still gotta make a cubby hole down the side for the mini battery and glass that in but the general idea is done and dusted, I think it looks pretty sweet TBH.
