| Well tonights tinkering....
Think the track car springs might be a little low :
Got the Box off the 1.6 16v:
Got the F20 off the XE:
Got the starter loom off the 1.6:
Andy gets to work with fitting the replacement oil cooler (cheers Lips!)
Bits back on and on its wheels:
Meanwhile i start getting the loom and ECU out the Estate:
And out and ready to go with the engine:
Andys is back on the ground and gets fed:
The 1.6 gets collected and goes:
Then Andys starts up (once he's turned it over 10 times not realising the coil was disconnected ) and smokes for a fair while:
Then i get the Estate on the dolly so i can move it over to get the XE out from behind it and get ready to drop it in:
Then Ronnie (RC) pops over with his 'crew' ( ) to collect the F20, and another mig member arrives from Beds (OMG) to pick up some Nova bits. Then we brave the winds and head home. Im hoping the workshop is still there tomorrow as it was moving about in the wind!
Anyway TTFN!! |

| Well because i cant get hold of the drivers mount till tomorrow all i could do was get the XE ready to go in. Unfortunately i found an issue:
It had obviously been rubbing on something and worn right though!
So i had to replace it and while it was of i had to modify and fit the 1.6 starter loom:
Then all back together:
And F16cr on with mounts:
I took more pics but they havent come out for some reason so basically Andy got his GSi finished and outside. Its now at the local fitters for a decat and exhaust fitting, Lower arms and trackrod ends.
I may get pics of that tomorrow after collecting the engine mount needed to get it in the bay. So saturday we should be in and running, but with true Drizz Developments luck it probably wont happen |

| nice fella, will the track estate be getting a drizz - S.A style kit on it or staying a sleeper style? i cant help but remember back to the volvo estate touring cars of the early 90's and how rapid they were, be good to see how it works out on track, will it be ready for coombe? |

| It wont be going as far as coombe. Just local events. Have pics of the Volvo 850 BTCC for the cage setup to give to our fabricator
Its getting GSi frontage but not Skirts and rear bumper. If i did that my stock would dry up of SA bits. Having 3 SA kitted cars is just asking for trouble |

| Well turns out theyre StilAuto Sigmas.
Picked them up today along with the new suspension, front legs, and brakes.
Also my mate had an Astra GSi in for scrap so i went and got the rear beam off. Was a lot easier when he'd finished playing:
Well big day tomorrow, shall update tomorrow night! |
