I meant the white with the black/polished 4 spokes.

Well John came round, made what looked like a suicide bomb:

Then we went to the pub, had a blat in the VXR against some local chavs, then a KFC and home. Tomorrow will see some more progress lol

Re: Drizz Developments

After unsucessfully having another go at the ramp we turned to the fiesta again.
Scott started to remove the rest of the floor:

Exposed chassis rail, and a bike rack:

Wel went outside and left him too it:

He got carried away:

And how we left it tonight:

Re: Drizz Developments

Well done a few miles last night and all was good. Went to collect my new steering wheel, so today i fitted it. Had to go to the scrappy to get a Vectra squib which i had to modify to fit the astra column, and got the necessary connectors out the scrap vectra, which i had to cut into the astra loom, but its all on and good. The Vectra squib works the horn and cancels the indicators:

So it now matches my gear knob and handbrake handle. And heres the bay for now until i get my colour coded covers back, and tidy the wiring in the bay. Will do for now while its still new in the bay:

Nothing else to report at this time lol!

Re: Drizz Developments

well no point in mincing!
Went southend last night and again no issues except losing an indicator lense, but we werent hanging around
Now im a little troubled with my 308s. Was having a spirited drive home on the b roads with a mate in his RST Escort. I got serious serious fade, to the point where there wasnt much left at all. I think ill have to change to dot 5.1 fluid but not sure where alse to go after that. I was really disapointed with theyre performance. Granted theyre OE pads but even my old Omega had those and had no brake issue at all.....

Re: Drizz Developments

are you rear pads ok dan, this may be why the brakes died?

or else there is just oo much heat in the smaller engine bay compared to the larger omega engine bay

Re: Drizz Developments

Well today i went to collect my engine mounts, so got back and fitted them all up:

Then got the bottom arms off ready for the old ball joints to be removed and lifted it over the ramp:

And in ready to measure up for more trimming:

Also got a pair of brand new inner sills off a local guy. Dont really need them but while theyre available i thought id get them:

Tomorrow ill get some more done. Slow and steady wins the race

In the omega engine bay there is more room for engine heat to dissipate yet in the mk3 there is not so much room therefore heat sinks into things around it, ie brake pipes.
