also just looking at your lifter and you said you need a new motor, whats wrong with the old motor can it be rewound? or is it a 3 phase? | No as the water leaked out before i even turned it over. But obviously i filled it with oil just before. Oil and water are dropped out now. Havent seen evidence of oil seeping so hopfully itll be ok. In theory i could leave the inlet manifold on the head to lift it off. Just undo the fuel lines couldnt i? But ideally id rather not! Wouldnt the pressure of the head tightning force fluids out? Are you saying use the airline to blow it out now or with the head off?

| Re: A-2-Drizz Developments i was thinking airline with the head on but only posible if there is a visable gap which by the sounds of it there isnt, its posible that the tightening may push the fluids out but i did one before with water on the head and the ****ing thing lost compression accross all four, gotta be worth a try tho rather than taking the head off.

Revs took themselves up to 6k for a bout 3 seconds but other than that fine. No power steerings a killer though. I need to dig out the correct engine mount so i can connect up the PAS pump.
SO ill sort the fuel pump now! |
