    Re: A-2-Drizz Developments

Saturday night was Southend. Heres a night pic to show the fogs are the same as the sidelights:

Sunday had a day at The Classic Ford Show. My chariot for the day (turn your head lol):

A bit of me. Estate, XE, and OSF!

    And the rest:

And today Claire popped in to have her Astra level-erd. Well she actually wanted it Lowered but as it already had lower stuff fitted it wont be much different, but at least she has new shocks and brakes!
    Before:

Her fitted springs vs OE Astra one. Its clearly been lowered in the past:

Andy starts looking at my LET. It has got the ARPs i was promised but not sure on rods and pistons yet..

    New vs Old:

    All done!

And the only job she did:

Lazy cow. I know Claire also has pics to add...

Thats not far off how i want my Mk1. Not touched it for a few days as been sorting the estate.
Steve, legal im not sure, but Minis have the side lights seperate down lower so we shall see. Get a sidelight bulb holder, it fits into the hole in the fog, and the original bulb clip holds it in place. Join the wires together in the lamp and plug it in original fog loom. Job done!

Drizz, replace the sidelight bulbs in the fogs, and your headlights with PIAA white LED sidelights. Looks so much better; did this a while ago in my old mk3

    Any pics Dave?

Anyway been beavering away this week cleaning ready for PV, so heres some action from today so far, its all still going on as i type!!!!!

Thought id treat the leather to a clean and feed with the Autoglym stuff. Well impressed with how its come out:

While Claire started to wash her's in the rain, borrowing my jacket:

I moved mine out and the polishing looked good :

    Then i started de-badging Claires:

But need to borrow a caramel wheel tomorrow as theres some glue left that even Tar remover couldnt get off!!!!

    Claire started polishing:

While i drilled the show plates:

Andy then cracked on changing her wheels:

    Mr Spankee turned up:

    So we moved Claires out:

    So Spankee could crack on:

Shows how bad Andys paint had got:

And the show continues. Will update again shortly!!

    Re: A-2-Drizz Developments

    Well continuing last nights update:

Steve got Andys all done and Spanking

Got the billy bullsh*t spray on the LET:

Then outside for a quick wash before the last stage:

    Sir Spanks GTE:

    Mine outside getting cold:

    And Andys all done:

So today we begun with a visit to Ross to try and remove Claires Badge glue. As it turns out a quick wet a dry session revealed it to be excess paint. Yes thats right the badges were masked up before the boot was previously sprayed. I kid you not! She has booked it in with Neil accross the road to be sorted next week. Heres Ross having a go:

    Then Breakfast:

When we were full up we headed up the Unit. Andy started demolishing the Turbo to fit his iPod adaptor:

And first mess up of the day was resting the hot soldering iron on its cable:

    All apart again:

Id found an old Backbox kicking about so got Emo to chuck it on the estate. Only a temporary measure but looks better than the STD peashooter:

Erm, no travel in my springs!!!!

Then i washed the Estate again and backed it in. Two clean Astras:

Andy brought his Splitter back to new:

    Put my new flatblades on:

Andy wanted the sticker on the back instead of the wings, so I obliged:

I polished my pipes with the aid of the Dremmel:

Then we went home. So tomorrows PV!

    Re: A-2-Drizz Developments

Well today then. Was feeling really crap today so not a lot done. Made a start on my LET though:

    Got the head off:

Pistons are different. Deeper dish than normal. Can anyone gen me up?

Dont know if anyone noticed but Andys seat was on the pi$$ so today he went about repairing it. The seat cushion support had broken:

    So Claire helped him out:

And Andy awarded her with pleasuring him (check the knees )

    All done and lovely:

    Re: A-2-Drizz Developments

Well yesterday my new water pump, headbolts, and belt turned up. The Cometic is reserved ready for collection (www.performanceenginecomponents.com) and so i placed the pump in its home but not tightened till the belt is fitted:

My new Parrott handsfree kit turned up so i plumbed that in:

Then i changed my amp rack, was never happy with it as it was messy and i could never get to bulbs in the rear lights...
So i stripped the old stuff out and measured up for the new one:

Got the amps bolted on and the holes made for the cables:

    And in position:

    Got the boxes back in:

And refitted the cover, the passer by would have no idea:

So today ive already washed the car down, ill give her another polish and secure this amp rack in position somehow...

    Re: A-2-Drizz Developments

Well today then when i got to the unit Neil opposite was cracking on with my 17s:

He was getting them cleaned up ready for the refurb.
Didnt get much else done today after washing the car as i sparked up an old relationship. Ive cheated on my current one and had an affair with my old one.
    And here she is:

Its been a while but i gave her a go again. Ive been using Megs, and Turtle Wax recently and just wasnt getting the results id hoped for.
I had one bottle of Autoglym Super Resin Polish left and thought sod it, ill use it up. Yes i got some dust, yes i had to use my muscles but god she's good. Im so sorry i left her for a newer model.
    Megs = Bin
Shops = Stock up on AG!!!

Just look, the feel and shine is the best yet.
I must be ****e at using megs but sod it. Im in love lmao
