Some nice progress Dan, i would come down tomorrow as its my day off but i've gotta remove a gearbox and transfer box from my doner Disco. A few days of playing in the snow has left me with a broken front prop and a near dead transfer box lol!

    Re: Drizz Developments

Today then. Excuse all the useless pics. Its to please Mr Grim....
The bucket i used to catch a small leak during the snow had collected a fair amount of water, so i emptied it and was left with this lol:

So i had a good tidy up and decided a move was needed, so got the Mk1 down on the deck:

    And moved it forward:

Got the exhaust off the GTi engine:

Then the shafts, with a little help from an electric friend:

    Then pulled the defender out:

Got the buck off and up against the wall

    Got the A bar undone:

Then the springs out and trailing arms undone:

And got the axle away and with the buck:

Then with a little help from my friends, turned the chassis upside down and back on stands ready for the underside to be cleaned up and the grot dealt with:

And just so you know it still exists:

Also, for all you Vauxhall people, i went to see my neighbour and his Escort:

    With a Turbocharged Vauxhall heart:

And deepdish revolutions, coilovers and willwoods:

    Re: Drizz Developments

Today i carried on stripping the chassis of bushes, arms etc and then grinded the crud off and its all mint underneath so thats all good

Then onto the caddy. First i washed the back down:

Then it started getting its tattoo

    Still hasnt thawed:

Then my improvised heating system lol:

Then got bored and released the old skool stickers. Firstly, some ladies, and 'NO RICE'

Then more ladies and 'JDM? NAH!!'

Then back to front flames (on purpose lmao), and 'SMALL HOOPS'

    'DUFF RIMS'

Do the Maniquin and a bar code

    More ladies

    'Nob out Racing' lmao

    One for the Mrs

And thats about it lmao Theyll fall off soon!

Not been funny but other than a pink and black VW van with some pap stickers on has anything ever left this "unit" in one drivable piece?
