update

when i fitted my fuel pressure reg i bodged it, basicly it was sitting right next to the throttle body all squashed. so today i chopped up a little pipe and extended the piping so it sits in a proper position...



then i had a battery cover which i only fitted once, so me being me made a little airbox out of it lol, looks neat i think..?

phase 2 chips in, what an animal lol! cured my boost problem as well, seems the guy who had the engine before took his chips out (p3 i think) and put some cheap things in there...ran like **** for months!

200sx manifold (going to be bolted up with t3)





needs LET flange welding on....anyone do this for bit of cash? be very helpful!!

battery is also in the boot, header tank moved over

decided to sell that manifold and buy one of these off ebay for 200notes lol...

manifold turned up, not very pleased! needs some work really just spent 20mins grinding down most of it so it flows better as there welding isn't great lol...some of it looks unfinished as well still looks pretty good lol.



this bit definatley needs some attention lol pipe that goes to wastegate needs boring out basicly as you can see its all jagged etc





could do with a slight port lol



turbo bolted up, still needs a clean



it will do i guess, long as it doesn't crack in the first 5mins were laughing lol

the manifold looks not soo bad, could maybe run a bead of weld around the first pic and file it down till its smoth, witch turbo is that you are using if you dont mind me asking?

just some t34 from america, my mate had it sitting in his garage after taking it off his rs turbo lol only used it for a day an hated the lag! so its brand new really, only going to be running 18psi through it so it will more then cope.

do you think the manifold isn't that bad? i probably could get someone to weld the **** bits? bit of hassle for me though expected it to be straight fit.

sprayed wheels just need to finish lacquering and then they can be fitted...



finished just 2 need lacquering. light is **** so need some day time pics look spot on in flesh though! much better then black

as my oil cooler pipe burst the other day its been off the road since nut i have sprayed wheels as you can see....today i put the fan round the front (just needs 1 more bracket making up) fitted new boost hose off turbo as old one was funked, so tomorrow i will hopefully be getting some new oil hoses made up and then remount the cooler to easier place to get to

update:

got the head off this morning...

4 nicely mashed pistons...this is only 2 but there all the same.



followed by 8 lovely bent valves

Nice work, pistons will be fine most of the time. Headstuds whilst its apart as it wont stay together forever if you push hard? I got fed up buying headbolts. what gasket are you going to put back on?

oh really? im taking the engine out now to give it the once over...had enough of things going wrong with it.

not sure on gaskets etc or studs....bit new to that stuff lol. advise would be greatful...

defiantely go with the studs mate, there is nothing worse than tightening down the head bolts and the threads getting pulled out of the block. This just happened to me and that was even with a stud kit, but generally the risk is much lower.
