Im to tight to buy a wastegate and it takes longer to build and not really needed at this level so I opted for this one!

Its v-band ready from what I can make out and is getting the most simple mani ever made for it too!

Put a vid up of the car driving....full spool rpm in 5th would be nice so we can compare the egay turbos.

Erm once iv got the Emerald on there ill see how its going but just need to get ryan at carlooms to make me another loom. I can only drive one at once so one ECU for two cars lmao (Switchable maps ect)

Mines an XE remember so we will see what works

Ha ha see you went for it in the end then, very simular to my one, i've give it death, starved it of oil once, ran 30psi through it and she still lives there that cheap that if it only lasts me 10-15K i'd not be arsed

3" top hat arrived just need my 3" clamp then i will fit it. taking in the standard one is 1" 3/4 lol this is huge!

update

after having problems with the top hat i got it skimmed and a cap welded on the dv outlet.





here is the size difference..



then my lambda failed and caused it to run **** and with no eml it was a headache! got one off jav...





bought brownys EBC, ran the wiring down the gearbox side as its eaiser for my wastegate, all neatly tide up with the engine loom...



mounted the soilenod under the slam panel.. (not connected yet, need some help on what goes where??)





the controller and a little holder i have made up, will go in the stereo hole







cut the hole out then skimmed it over with some filler (needs sanding) will paint it gloss black.



had to replace my indiactor/main beam stalk as it kept randomly flashing when indicating etc



replaced the little outside temp sensor to but it still doesn't work ideas?





any help on the ebc and temp display will be good

freshly painted wheels look miles better! they were so dirty and scratched to death!



washed my calipers but they need re painting to! remembered i threw out my caliper paint

got a red dv hose to match the rest



still got one more wheel to do but i need more paint so will do that tomorrow! going to get a polished rocker cover tomorrow and i will prob do the cambelt one myself! also got a ploished heatshield to go on but it needs chopping around the manifold...

all stuff for pvs lol, got a long list in my room of stuff that needs doing before june!! always comes round to quick.

started on the gearbox...primer and silver! will have to wait for it to dry so i can roll it over lol other wise oil pisses out when its flat

cleaned abd taped up...

and one coat of silver so far...(hammerite is ****!! so thin)

picked up my clutch last night!! also got another thread up about the sensor on my f28??

uprated pressure plate



4-paddle clutch!



will fit this next tuesday!! got a big update coming in april...

right after hurting my ankle and not being able ot fit my f28 i have been tidying the wires quite madly lol!!

here goes..

started on the wiring today, what a ******* getting the loom through that hole by the brake servo lol!!!

pulled the whole loom out and removed the scuttle and plastic...



cut a whole so the loom runs under the scuttle and will be hidden by the inlet cover..



some vacuum hose on the sharp edges..



and how the car looks lol bit of a mess..



to do list!!

run wires through the wings
solder/shrink wrap plugs onto loom
bolt coil under scuttle/wire up
hack off battery tray
remove 1.4 lights loom etc
decide where im running it
cut/solder more wires
move pas hose round the wing
fit polished rocker cover
cam belt cover
top hat/turbo cover
re fit scuttle/wipers
wash header tank/washer bottle

to do when my ankle is good
