| solid rack mounts are great, just remember to fit the plastic packers behind them or the rack can move about, alot

| I thought you were against them? Due to the fact if you hit a kerb there nothing to absorb the impact? Im all for em, they look cool, nice and light and tighten up the steering what more do you want for £25. |

Quaife gearlever £325
A mate who's building a Corsa C Super1600 had quite a lot of parts off hockly recently - All excellent quality - however the plain black steel sequential gearlever that hockly supplied was quickly sent back when we found out a Sadev machined alloy sequential lever was roughly the same price !!!!

| ideally you want both sides of the spacer to fit nside the rose joint, and to have a small gap in the middle so they dont touch each other, this way you load the rose joint the way it should be loaded
pics of the door handles? |

| The stepped bush doesnt exeed the width of the bush so never touches the other spacer. Its only like having SPACER - 10MM BUSH - SPACER. I could part the step from the stepped bush and have 3 seporate pieces. It Nips the rose joint when tightned. Havnt go any pics of the handles. Cant take a camera to work. Will get some when finished. If you like em i could knock you a pair up for free? Doesnt cost me owt |

| sounds good, love to see some pics when they're done i see what your saying about the spacers, but if your making them from scratch, i would have had both going into the rose joint, and if you part the inner spacer from the outer ones, then you wont load the joint as its designed to be loaded, in relation to the inner radius on the ball of the joint, dont think it will cause any worries in this application, but for stuff under lots of load, its worth doing imo
dont mean to nit pick though, and am jealous of your ease of access to free titanium |

| I see what you mean now. The material is an absolute pain to work with! Notr realy much of an update, recieved my arp head studs and just ordered full gasket kit with 1.3mm metal head gasket and steel rollers and new cam belt. Finished one of my hangers for the rear calipers : |

| Looks like a mounting bracket for a rear caliper - 4 holes to the left are where the stub axle mount through - the two to the right look like caliper mounts !!!
I'm sure Ste will correct me if I'm wrong

| the mk4 astra still uses gay handbrake in drum bollocks doesnt it? the golf one, while prone to seizing, fit straight onto nove stub axles and have a disk handbrake
