| Re: Senator 24v manual ex-police, track / drift car Anyways, so tonight I finally got off my arse and repaired the handbrake, so while the rear end was in the air, I thought Id try out my shorter springs and shocks as I had some mega rake going on.........
sat pretty level! It looks freakin awesome, time will tell how well it slides / drives like that, especially as all the roads round here are basically like green laning Ive had an idea that will tuck the exhaust further up in the body so thats top of the list, then I might chop the front springs a touch or add a lil extra height to the back (as those rears are mega high profile tyres and wont be staying!)
Took it for a ride, by myself its awesome, with a passenger it scrapes on everything.... best put the exhaust remaking plans into action sooner rather than later!
Sorry about the pretty eventless update!

| Re: Senator 24v manual ex-police, track / drift car yeah strangley they dont seem to be bothered about the ****heap in the drive anymore! Apparently they have a sense of humour after all!
Cheers for the compliment! Its still a heap really.
Anyways......... tonight it was pissing it down and I was feeling miserable, so I thought "Must keep mojo going" and headed to the barn to have a looksee at my sorry looking Mk2s.
Decided to fit some 15x8, ET25 rims Id bought to replace the hilarious 13x8s Id had stolen (hilarious due to the -15 offset)
Pics..... not very good due to barn and no engine in the car front wheels should come out a bit in the arch when the suspension compresses. Rears may need a spacer!
They need a refurb, but Im fairly pleased with them |

Yeah you can diff up an auto. Its a bit trickier and you cant use all the techniques, but had great fun with a lad in his soarer when Bovingdon still used to run drift days. Just stick the box in "2" and go That only works on the slower courses obviously. I find its ultimately not as fun though. |

| Re: Senator 24v manual ex-police, track / drift car Yesterday, did some skids..... and the anti-invisibility paintwork actually works!!!
Was a fun day apart from an intermittent top end rattle. Booking another one, either 27th Aug or 10th Sept or both! Need to get my welded difff in ASAP though.
Lots of other pics from the day here....... http://s111.photobucket.com/albums/n...808/?start=all

And shave?! Meh when I can be arsed or theres a chance some foxy ladies might be around
Ill have to drag you to one of these days Lee, or Benn for that matter! Its a proper good crack, especially when they let 4 people out at the same time on the fastest track! An S2000 also decided the fast track wasnt hard enough so dumped all its engine oil all over the corner at the end of the fastest part!!!! Made it a challenge I tell you. Linked it more than once though so I was happy |

sounds good to me, i'll bring that hatstand of a pal brian with me too and doesnt oil on the track just make drifting less harsh on the tyres? |
